SWMAG members Neville Oldham, Steve Clarkson, Mike Turner and Ron Howell have been highly commended for their archaeological work on HMS Venerable, lost in Torbay in November 1804. They will be presented with their award by the Duke of Edinburgh on the 3rd November 2011

PermalinkSWMAG have been invited to talk once again about their work and discoveries to the Cornwall Archaeological Society at Truro. The date is Thursday 13th October 2011 and presentation is 'To Sail no More' the story of the life and loss of the West Country Ketch 'Lord Napier' The speakers are Ron Howell aand Andy Elliott.
