I was Guest Speaker at Blisworth WI last Thursday. The talk had been arranged for Jan, but due to the snow the meeting was postponed. Shame, as it meant all the latest artefacts had gone to the BM.
Martin and Margaret Holiday (Martin was in South Northants BS-AC at the same time as me) even came specially when they saw it was yours T on the programme - they really should get a life.
The evening went well; as ever it came as a surprise to everyone that so much trade was going on throughout Europe during the Bronze Age.
There were some good questions throughout the evening and they even asked if there was anything else I could come back and talk about; Ron's research on The Lord Napier sprang to mind.
Just like the thank the WI for their donation.
